About the Camps

We want to welcome the teams, coaches, and friends of players to enjoy the summer weeks filled with skills, games, and creative learning to increase the level of play and development throughout the league. Albany-Berkeley, Montclair and El Cerrito Soccer Club teams and players who participate receive a $50 discount on the camps and scholarships are available if qualified.

A popular practice for coaches is to merge a team camp with additional players to increase the team's numbers, as well as invite another team to participate. The advantage of having two teams at one camp is that both teams benefit from having the challenge of competing against one another. It also helps coaches determine positioning, strengths, weakness, and tactics during scrimmages. The ratio of players to a coach is 15:1.

Teams are encouraged to schedule early to accommodate for the field limitations and demand. Teams may also schedule mini-camps from 4:30 to 7:30pm, Monday to Friday. In addition to team camps, weekend clinics, personal training, and small group training.
