Phil Scicluna, Camp Director
Phil Scicluna has a wealth of experience and knowledge of soccer that he is excited to share. He gets players to embrace their love and of the game and truly understand how it is played. He gets phenomenal results! Phil also has experience with soccer around the world. He has played in England, Malta, and takes teams to play in Mexico. Phil has coached at Triton College in Rivergrove, Illinois, and worked with the Legacy teams where he honed his family’s methods of teaching soccer. He comes from a family of professional players and coaches. He was the first West Coast-Regional Director for Soccer Waza, Director for Marin Soccer Camps, AYSO Head Technical Trainer for Region 45, President of Full Circle Soccer-San Francisco, and he has personally trained WPS players. His accolades include numerous titles of leading scorer and MVP, league championships for class 1 under 18 boys and Berkeley High School, and his players go on to play in college and professionally. Phil has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Mary’s College in California. He was also one of the first people to bring beach soccer to the west coast and now directs one of the largest beach soccer tournaments in the country. He is EMT and CPR certified, NSCAA Premier licensed, and is one of four people with a distinct coaching credential through American Sports Institute. His experience and passion for the game pushes him to inspire others to embrace the love of soccer. He feels incredibly grateful for the opportunity to bring the family’s legacy of European values and excellent coaching staff together to make a considerable difference toward the American evolution of the game. Phil Scicluna is also thankful for all the incredible people and mentors who have become friends through the beautiful game itself.

Rob Ball
Rob's journey with soccer began at an early age of 4 where he began to find his love for the world's game. He played competitively throughout his younger years and played on one of New Jersey's top select team throughout high school winning numerous regional tournaments. During this time Rob was also selected to play for New Jersey's ODP (Olympic Development Program) team. Rob took his years of high-level experience and skill refinement to Plymouth State University and played four years as a midfielder for one of the top teams in the Easter Collegiate Athletic Conference. As a starting freshman his team made it to the NCAA tournament. He has also appeared in the ECAC tournament twice and took the crown in 2002. After Rob's collegiate experience he began sharing his enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge of the game with youth in California. He has extensive experience working with boys and girls teams ages 3-18. He currently trains youth teams in Berkeley, San Francisco and Marin, California. Rob's philosophy is that soccer is one of life's greatest teachers as well as a universal language that connects and creates beauty throughout the world.

Aaron Delbex-Smith
Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Aaron originally came to California as an aspiring pro player. However, after having suffered several injuries, he came upon the blessing and opportunity to become a trainer and coach of all ages and skill levels. Now he enjoys passing on an understanding of the dedication, discipline, and desire required to take the ‘beautiful game’ of soccer to the next level. Aaron has his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Lifestyles Management from the University of Hawaii, Manoa. Aaron has coached at numerous competitive youth camps, clubs and high schools all throughout the bay area over the last decade. He holds an Advanced National Diploma from NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association of America). Aaron is also certified in FAMS (Fundamentals of Athletic Mastery), an innovative coaching method designed by non-profit American Sports Institute, focused on a holistic model of developing the total athlete, heart-mind-body connection. He has also been trained in the principles of Ayurveda and meditation from the Deepak Chopra Center. Aaron brings the loving nature of the islands ‘Aloha spirit’, and training methods that always inspire fun, creative, challenging, and energetic sessions.

Geoff Davies, Head Coach
Geoff coached the L.A. Galaxy, served as the Player/Coach for the New York Cosmos, and holds the English Club Premier Team record at Wiggan for most goals scored in a single season. That record is still unbeaten today, as is his incredible experience, spirit, and desire for players to learn and enjoy the game. Geoff is the head trainer in Marin, holds an “A” coaching license, and is the Lead Director for Marin Soccer Camps for over 20 years.

Dominic Scicluna, Soccer Waza Visiting Coach
Dominic Scicluna, Soccer Waza Visiting Coach Dominic holds a USSF “B” Coaching License and an Advanced Brazilian Football Academy Diploma. As a NJCCA Assistant and Head Coach, Dominic’s Schoolcraft College team reached NJCAA National Finals twice and he was voted NJCCA’s ‘Coach of the Year’ for three years running. Dominic’s international professional playing experience includes Malta Premier and Jamaica Major Leagues.

Mario Scicluna, Soccer Waza Visiting Coach
Mario is the Waza FC Director of Coaching in Livonia, Michigan, and has over 12 years of coaching experience. Mario played professionally in the US with the Mid-Michigan Bucks. His international professional playing career includes Australia and Malta Premiere Leagues.

Pamela Davis, Coaching Staff
Coach Davis was a high school "All-American" soccer player in 1985 and 1986. She scored 110 goals during her high school career, breaking records in the state of New Jersey for 11 goals in 3 games, and was awarded the "Most Valuable Player" by the state of New Jersey and New Balance. She continued on to play for Anson Dorrance, and the Women’s National Championship Soccer Team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1987.
Shortly after college, Coach Davis moved to California where she joined the Amateur Athletic Foundation in Los Angeles and began coaching high school soccer coaches, preparing them for the "D State" coaching license. At the same time, she was the Director of Coaching at the Mira Mesa Soccer Association, in San Diego. For the past 10 years, Pamela has coached and trained competitive girls teams, ages 8-16, in the Mill Valley Soccer Club in Marin County, California.

Meredith Broderic, Guide
Meredith works as a guide and a school teacher. She has 10 years experience guiding trips in California, Colorado, West Virginia, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Chile. She has also led cultural exchange trips and worked with youth centers in Mexico. A graduate of the University of Vermont, Meredith has been working with children as a teacher, coach, counselor, and parent for 15 years. She currently teaches in a dual language immersion school, and tutors english learners. She also has 10 years experience as an EMT.
